The story of Only Way Iz Up is a rather unique one. The journey started long before the company was even formulated in the mind of founder, Derrick Omar. In 2016, Derrick was at a breaking point that caused him to draw closer to God. After a heavy life of gang banging and an added felony gun charge hanging in the midst; Derrick had no other choice that to surrender to Christ and find a new way of life- one that came with a purpose! Fast forward four years later and here we are at the foundation of Only Way Iz Up. This clothing label was founded when Derrick started to notice how satanic the main stream clothing brands had become. He was determined to start a line that would not only be fashionable and practical but that would also give glory to the one true God. His persistence and endurance with faith started a whole line dedicated to offering varieties of casual apparel for men, women, and children.
